What's your Number?
For this project, we were given a list of ancient number systems to choose from. My group chose Roman Numerals. We then were assigned to create an instructional booklet that has the history of the system, how to read and write it, and how to add, multiply, subtract, and divide.
We proceeded by presenting our booklet to the class and giving them a "lesson" on our number system. Then to test their knowledge, we created a quiz for our classmates to take after. Because they did well on the quiz, our group got extra credit.
